Born from both the desire and the necessity to preserve a heritage and to elevate an ancestral craft, Izza Berber brings to life unique rugs of exceptional quality. This approach lies at the heart of its cooperative, Héritage berbère, created to support, protect, and perpetuate these precious skills.
Behind every rug, there is a woman. There are gestures inherited from mothers and grandmothers, motifs whose meanings have gradually faded from collective memory, long hours of meticulous work, and stories patiently woven by hand.
Our project is above all a human endeavor, founded on respect for women artisans, ancestral know-how, and the environment, through ethical and sustainable production.

Née du désir et de la nécessité de préserver un héritage et d’élever un artisanat ancestral, Izza Berber donne vie à des tapis uniques d’une qualité exceptionnelle. Cette démarche s’inscrit au cœur de sa coopérative, Héritage berbère, créée pour accompagner, protéger et perpétuer ces savoir-faire précieux.
Derrière chaque tapis, il y a une femme. Il y a des gestes hérités de la mère et de la grand-mère, des motifs dont la signification s’est peu à peu effacée de la mémoire collective, de longues heures de travail minutieux et des histoires patiemment tissées à la main.
Notre projet est avant tout une aventure humaine, fondée sur le respect des femmes artisanes, des savoir-faire ancestraux et de l’environnement, grâce à une production éthique et durable.
